The Office of External Affairs facilitated a quarterly meeting between the members of Bangladesh Alumni Foundation (BdAF) and the scholarship recipient students on 21st May 2026.

In keeping with the established arrangement, BdAF members engaged in regular interaction with the students to learn about their academic progress, career plans, and more. Scholarship recipients Shadman Shadid, Tripti, and Maria attended the meeting. As most of the students are now nearing the completion of their undergraduate education — with some already having entered the workforce — conversations centered around their academic journeys, professional transitions, and future aspirations.

Dr. Zahid Hossain, President of Bangladesh Alumni Foundation, attended on behalf of his team and took updates from the students. He was pleased to learn of their growth and progress. Dr. Hossain offered valuable advice on skill development, with a particular emphasis on the growing importance of artificial intelligence in the modern work industry. In a significant announcement, he expressed his commitment to sponsor AI tool subscriptions for all scholarship recipients for a period of one year, enabling them to better equip themselves for the demands of today's professional landscape.
