North South University successfully hosted the NSU SHSS Alumni Colloquium Series Spring 2026 on 16 April 2026, bringing together faculty members, students, scholars, and research enthusiasts for an engaging academic exchange.
The session featured insightful presentations by alumni speakers Mr. Muhaimin Al Moyeed (Department of Law), Mr. Tausif Akib Khan (SIPG), and Ms. Sonan Tabindah (Department of English & Modern Languages), who shared thought-provoking research on cryptocurrency regulation, ESG and sustainable development, and the reinterpretation of 1971 through literature and memory.
Moderated by Ms. Irtifa Zaman, the event fostered meaningful dialogue, with an interactive Q&A session enriching the discussion. Professor Md. Rizwanul Islam, Dean of SHSS, emphasized the importance of continued research and academic contribution, describing the colloquium as a true “agora of ideas.”
The event concluded with remarks from Dr. Md. Abdus Sabur Sajal, who served as discussant, and a token of appreciation presented to the speakers.
