North South University (NSU) proudly congratulates its distinguished alumnus Ayed Anowar, a 2023 graduate of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE), on achieving a remarkable international academic milestone.

Currently pursuing a Master of Applied Science in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC), Canada, Mr. Anowar has been awarded the highly competitive Mitacs Globalink Research Award—one of Canada’s most prestigious international research grants for graduate students. Through this honor, he has been selected to undertake a fully funded international research internship at the University of Oulu, Finland, where he will contribute to advanced research on winter road durability.
