Join us for a warm, informative welcome session designed to help new NSUers settle into life in Adelaide.

This community-led event covers essential local knowledge, career guidance, and a chance to connect with fellow NSUers.

This session is specially designed for new NSUers in Adelaide, providing essential guidance to help you settle in, navigate local life, and start building connections with the community.

What to expect

Spend an engaging evening learning practical tips for settling in, receiving career guidance, and connecting with fellow NSUers:

  • Practical introduction to living in Adelaide
  • Guidance on accommodation and local road rules
  • Resume tips and career Q&A
  • Networking with the NSUers community
  • Light meal handover at wrap-up

Program

Here’s the schedule for the evening:

  • 4:30–4:50 pm | Attendee registration
  • 4:50–5:00 pm | Acknowledgement of Country
  • 5:00–5:10 pm | Welcome address
  • 5:15–6:00 pm | Adelaide essentials: accommodation, road rules & community insights
  • 6:00–6:10 pm | Break & mingle
  • 6:10–6:50 pm | Resume session & open Q&A
  • 6:50–7:00 pm | Closing remarks
  • 7:00–7:30 pm | Takeaway meal, wrap-up, & closing
