The NSU Alumni Association Australia (NSU AAA) successfully hosted NSU Connect – A Day by the Bay on 23 November 2025, a day-long community event designed to bring alumni together for a relaxing and memorable afternoon by the scenic Port Phillip Bay.

The event was graced by Professor Abdul Hannan Chowdhury, PhD, Vice Chancellor of North South University, along with distinguished members of the NSU Board of Trustees — Mr. Benajir Ahmed (Former Chairman and Trustee Board Member) and Dr. Hasanuzzaman, Assistant Director of External Affairs at North South University.

A key highlight of the program was the official distribution of NSU Alumni ID Cards. Approximately 50 alumni received their ID cards directly from the Vice Chancellor, fulfilling a commitment he made earlier this year during his engagement with the NSU AAA community in Melbourne.

NSU AAA has been working closely with the NSU Office of External Affairs to streamline and refine the alumni ID card application and processing workflow, ensuring a smoother experience for NSUers worldwide.

This milestone reflects NSU and NSU AAA’s ongoing dedication to strengthening alumni identity, recognition, and community belonging in Australia.
